QQLite FAQ
A: Yes, they are. But the QuarterQuellLite is rather challenging. It provides a slightly different and improvised interface, it has a new menu layout, it is equipped with new gameplay, and it has three QQ rules and three QQ Arenas that would come at random each time you play. You don't know what's going to happen the next time you press "Begin"!
Q: How is the interface fixed? The one in HGLite is fine.
A: We now have the options on the pop-up box that'll appear when you press the Right SoftKey or the Left SoftKey. Then the menu is now using side-scrolling system where you use right and left buttons to choose menus. Trust me in this one, this system looks a lot better than the plain one used in HGLite.
Q: There's this something about new gameplay. What is it?
A: The gameplay is now fixed where the rules and Arenas affect the Games. You get a Drowned Deep as your Arena, for instance, then in the games you'll see that the Arena is flooded by water! There's also an effect to this. The effects differ by each Arena and by each rule. Then the Pause button -- which seemed like useless in HGLite -- is extremely necessary in QQLite. The events would keep happening even without you pressing the action button! So use the Pause button anytime you need to look away for a moment -- you don't know if something suddenly kills you.
Q: What are the rules and Arenas available, and how do they affect the game?
A: The rules are Elected Tributes, Twice Usual, and All Star. Yes, they are the rules mentioned in Catching Fire! While the Arenas are Beautifully Deadly, A Matter of Time, and Drowned Deep. Here are what the Arenas and rules do to the Games:
= Rules
- Elected Tributes: because you are elected, you start with 0 battle stats and 50 Health points instead of 100.
- Twice Usual: there are 48 Tributes instead of 24.
- All Star: your opponents are a lot stronger and it will take more to beat them!
= Arenas
- Beautifully Deadly: every animals here are poisonous. When you caught an animal in your trap, or decided to kill an animal you can eat, they'll only poison you!
- A Matter of Time: scheduled Traps will occur here. It happens every a few seconds. They don't only drain Health -- they take down battle stats, too!
- Drowned Deep: the Arena is all flooded, so your Health will decrease every a period of time. If you do nothing, just do nothing and you'll eventually die.
